MODULE 7: Technical Report Writing for Expert Witness (Wellington)

Focusing on the role of expert witnesses in a legal process, this course explains the role of the expert witness, traditional court processes and the specialised procedures and requirements which apply within various conflict resolution situations a Building Surveyor may find themselves.

This module covers technical report writing and how to transfer the information gathered on site into suitable report format for a dispute resolution situation. It will also provide a background on current legislation and pathways of dispute resolution in New Zealand.
