MODULE 6: Forensic Investigations (Auckland)

Extending over two days, this module will explore the process of forensic building investigations and evidence gathering. The Module content will provide in-depth understandings of methods of testing, equipment use, interpretation of results, sample gathering and report expectations. Subject to variable situations, weather conditions and suitable site availability, the second day of this module may incorporate a practical site tour. Please note that such a site tour cannot be guaranteed. Either way, you will be expected to apply the theory obtained from day one by undertaking several case study examples, interpreting their impact on various properties, and evaluating potential resultant issues. Examinations on both theoretical and interpretive aspects of this module will occur at the conclusion of day two.
