MODULE 1: Introduction to Building Law & Regulations (Christchurch)

This module provides a broad overview of the laws, regulations and controls that govern how buildings are designed, built and litigated in New Zealand. The emphasis is on the relevance to building surveyors at various stages, from consent through to court. This module is structured to be useful, no matter your level of existing knowledge. This module requires approximately 20 hours of pre-course study, prior to attending the module.. More time may be required depending on familiarity with the topics.
