29 September - 1 October 2022
Trinity Wharf Hotel, Tauranga

After a tumultuous few years we thought it apt to theme our conference around our ability as business people to ride the wave of change. And as Tauranga is known for its beautiful beaches, using this surfing analogy certainly fits.

This year the focus of the conference will address the changing face of New Zealand in the light of the pandemic, climate change and the evolving building surveying industry.

This year we are delighted to have some excellent speakers, the Keynote speaker, born and bred in Tauranga is Gareth Wallis.  Gareth is the Tauranga City Council General Manager: City Development and Partnerships.

Along with Gareth we have the dynamic Sean Colgan, Chairman, International Materials and former Olympic Rower, Jane Arnott, Director Ethics Conversation is an engaging speaker and has joined us in Tauranga after being set to visit Nelson last year before the conference cancellation.

From Infometrics, we have Principal Economist Brad Olsen.  He doesn't have a crystal ball about the future of the building industry from an economics perspective, but his insight and experience is a close second.

David Soper is the Senior Regional Facilities Manager for Colliers, bringing us a wealth of knowledge and experience in this area.

Mark Irving, Priority One will be taking us through the Tauranga CBD Blueprint project.  As the Project Manager, Mark will be presenting on the topic, followed by a walk through the CBD, so make sure to leave your heels at home.

We are very fortunate to have The Resident Builder, Peter Wolfkamp as the MC for the day, so come and join us in this coastal metropolis.  We are looking forward to seeing you there for the opportunity to hear what’s happening in the region and the usual friendly debate as we catch up in this beautiful part of the world.
